Physical activity helps to reduce body fat by building or preserving muscle mass and improving the body's ability to use calories. When physical activity is combined with proper nutrition, it can help control weight and prevent obesity, a major risk factor for many diseases.

Pilates is a popular low-impact exercise. It’s effective for toning up, building lean muscle, and improving posture.

Vitamin C is important as it helps the structural components of the blood vessels, bone tissue, tendons and ligaments.

I have a lean, thin figure since birth as I was born prematurely. So I always have been kind of frail and week looking (not the best for trying to pull off outfits). So one day I decided I was going to get some muscle no matter what. I started with following this blog and the routines and they posted. Helped me a lot. I also drink protein shakes and take amino acid supplements ( www.vitaminexpress.org/uk/amino-acids-supplements thank me later). I thought the supplements were pseudo science and just ordered on a whim but then I read up on amino acids and its actually very beneficial for your body if youre trying to gain mass. At this point, physical activity has become a part of my life. I can't go a day without atleast running!

Totally agree with you on the diet and exercise part. And speaking of staying healthy, have you ever thought about how alcohol fits into the picture? I stumbled upon this article recently and it was quite an eye-opener about the health risks of alcohol. Thought you might find it interesting too. Here's the link: T he Hidden Health Dangers of Alcohol. It's always good to stay informed.
